• Hiring for 3 Supervisors for below shifts, must be flexible to work either shift. 2-Month Special Project
• • Monday - Thursday
  • • 5:00pm-5:00am
  • Friday - Sunday
  • • 5:00pm-5:00am
  • Saturday & Sunday (Part-time on Fridays)
  • • • 5:00am-5:00pm
• Training for 2nd shift Mon-Thurs Supervisor will be on Wed, July 1st.
• Start of project will be Monday, July 6th for a duration of 2 months.

 

Job Summary:

• Supervise daily inbound receiving and unloading activities.
• Coordinate trailer scheduling and dock assignments.
• Ensure trailers are unloaded safely and efficiently.
• Monitor workflow to maintain productivity and service-level expectations.
• Verify all inbound shipments are received accurately and processed according to company procedures.
• Ensure products are properly staged, labeled, and stored in designated warehouse locations.
• Resolve receiving discrepancies, shortages, damages, and inventory variances.
• Enforce all OSHA, company, and facility safety policies.
• Conduct regular safety observations and equipment inspections.
• Ensure forklift operators maintain certifications and operate equipment safely.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized dock and warehouse area.
• Conduct shift handoff meetings to communicate workload, priorities, and operational updates.
• Maintain a shift log with trailer status, receiving progress, inventory issues, equipment concerns, and staffing updates.
• Communicate unfinished work and ensure clear assignment of tasks to the next shift.
• Share safety concerns, equipment issues, and inventory discrepancies with incoming supervisors and management.
• Coordinate with Operations, Transportation, and Inventory teams to ensure smooth workflow between shifts.
• Ensure all receiving paperwork and system transactions are completed or communicated before shift change.
• Promote accountability through clear communication and follow-up on outstanding issues.
