Highline Commerce is a fast-growing, tech-powered 3PL (third-party logistics provider) that helps early-stage e-commerce brands grow by taking the hassle out of shipping. Position Overview

We're looking for a General Manager to lead our Alpharetta facility end to end. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines warehouse operations, people management, and client relationships under one roof. You'll own the day-to-day running of the facility: facilitate shipping and receiving, leading a team of five full-time employees plus part-time and temporary workers, and serving as the primary point of contact for the brands we fulfill in the Southeast.

The ideal candidate is an organized, dependable leader who can run efficient operations, develop a team, and keep clients happy while also not being afraid to help out on the floor and get their hands dirty when the day calls for it.

This is a fully in-person, Monday-Friday role based out of Alpharetta, GA, a few minutes from Exit 12 of GA 400.

What You'll Do

People Management

• Lead, schedule, and develop a team of five full-time employees plus part-time and temporary workers.
• Hire, train, and onboard new team members as volume grows.
• Set clear expectations, manage performance, and keep the team motivated and accountable.
• Coordinate staffing levels to match order volume, including ramping temp labor up and down as needed.

Operations

• Own day-to-day operations of the Alpharetta facility, including all inbound and outbound shipping and receiving.
• Maintain efficient workflows and execute order picking, packing, and shipping with speed and accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels, oversee cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies, and keep the facility clean, organized, and audit-ready.
• Track KPIs and operational metrics, and report performance and insights to senior leadership.
• Identify and implement process improvements that boost productivity, accuracy, and efficiency as the facility scales.

Client / Account Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the brands fulfilled out of Atlanta, owning the relationship and their performance.
• Respond to client requests and resolve order, product, inventory, and project issues promptly and professionally.
• Communicate inventory receipts, issues, and order status to brands within agreed SLAs.
• Partner with leadership and other facilities to ensure a seamless experience for every brand.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in warehouse management, operations, or shipping/receiving leadership.
• Demonstrated success managing and developing a team, including full-time and temporary staff.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to own customer relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving, organization, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software, and a willingness to learn new platforms quickly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and warehouse best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment and meet deadlines.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and/or move objects 50+ pounds.
• Required to stand, walk, stoop, and kneel throughout the day.
• Ability to reach over shoulders; manual dexterity.
• Push and pull loaded pallet jacks.
