Job Title: SEO Strategist
Location: Remote, CA
The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $63.00 – $73.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Job Summary:
Own and advance organic search strategy across web properties, connecting content, technical execution, and business goals.
Drive keyword research, competitive analysis, and search landscape assessments to inform content strategy.
Lead technical SEO initiatives including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
Develop and govern AEO and GEO strategy, ensuring content is discoverable and cited across AI-driven search environments.
Scale AI-ready content standards including metadata optimization, schema markup, and structured data frameworks.
Define and monitor KPIs for organic search performance, delivering regular reporting and insights to stakeholders.
Serve as internal SEO/AEO subject matter expert, advising cross-functional teams on best practices.
Requirements:
6+ years of SEO experience across strategy, content SEO, and technical SEO.
Proven track record driving organic search growth in a B2B or enterprise environment.
Hands-on experience with AEO, GEO, and how large language models surface and cite web content.
Deep knowledge of technical SEO: crawl management, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar).
Experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
Preferred/Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Experience in B2B technology or cybersecurity.
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar enterprise CMS platforms.
Familiarity with headless CMS architectures and their SEO implications.
Experience with A/B testing, CRO, international/multilingual SEO, or log file analysis.
