Pace University's Lienhard School of Nursing in the College of Health Professions is seeking a Full-time Clinical Non-Tenure Track Faculty Member to join the faculty in our online MS Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program at either our NYC campus or Westchester campus, located in Pleasantville, New York.

The position will require an on campus presence. Candidates should have expertise in the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner role and experience with online teaching.

Position Qualifications

Required Experience/Qualifications:

All candidates must have national certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and be eligible for New York State RN licensure and NYS certification as an PMHNP.

Teaching experience (Academic rank and salary are commensurate with educational preparation and experience).

Relevant practice experience in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner role.

The Lienhard School of Nursing (LSN) was established in 1966 and has more than 7,000 alumni/ae and over 900 students enrolled in Baccalaureate and Graduate degree programs between the Westchester and NYC campuses. The LSN has a strong history of educating a culturally diverse, highly skilled nursing workforce, and has a longstanding commitment to primary health care and evidence-based practice. The LSN is part of the College of Health Professions which was established in 2010 to showcase the breadth of health science majors at Pace University.


The LSN Department of Graduate Studies (DGS) programs are built on the foundation of Francis Reiter's conceptualization of the Nurse-Clinician. Reiter was a visionary who advocated for interprofessional education in health sciences. Graduate nursing faculty are clinician scholars in the tradition that Reiter envisioned, and bring their clinical knowledge to their academic, service and scholarship activities, demonstrating a commitment to evidence-based, equitable person-centered primary healthcare within an interprofessional education and practice framework.

About the College of Health Professions:

Established in 2010, the College of Health Professions at Pace University offers a broad range of programs at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels. It is the College's goal to create innovative and complex programs that reflect the changing landscape of the health care system. These programs are designed to prepare graduates for impactful careers in health care practice, health-related research, or as educators, and equip graduates to work in health policy and global health fields. Students in clinical programs receive hands-on training in the College's interprofessional Center for Excellence in Healthcare Simulation and have the opportunity to apply their developing skills in real-world settings at many of the regions' leading clinical facilities.
