Job Responsibilities
Safely operate a FedEx Ground delivery truck or van
Deliver and pick up packages from homes and businesses around Madison and nearby areas
Use GPS and route sheets to manage deliveries efficiently
Provide friendly, professional customer service at each stop
Load, unload, and handle packages (up to 75 lbs alone / 150 lbs with equipment)
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Communicate effectively with dispatch and your team
Work safely in all weather conditions and maintain a clean driving record
Route Details
Rural Routes: 50–75 stops per day
Mixed Routes: 85–110 stops per day
In-Town Routes: 110–160 stops per day
Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must pass a background check, drug screening, and DOT physical
Able to lift up to 75 lbs
Prior experience with FedEx, UPS, Amazon, DHL, or other delivery companies is a plus, but not required
